Robert Gellatly

Director of Education of South Stafford Christian School
Robert is acquiring his Bachelors of Science in Religion degree from Liberty University.  His studies have an emphasis on pastoral ministry and he will be graduating this year.

Since 2009 he has taken on the responsibility of Assistant Pastor here at Kings Highway Baptist Church and as the Director of Education for South Stafford Christian School (SSCS).

SSCS is our associated K-4 - 12th grade accredited Christian school located here at Kings Highway Baptist Church.  Robert is also currently fulfilling a role as a Sunday School teacher for the "Singles" class and participates in preaching engagements when the opportunities present themselves.  God has given him the opportunity thus far to guest preach at three different churches and has participated in several missionary trips, sharing the Gospel message both here and where ever God leads him.

He accepted Jesus Christ as LORD and Savior over his life at the age of 12.  Since that time God has opened the door for him in the church to fulfill the roles of Bible Study Teacher, Youth Director, lay preacher, and Sunday School Director.  His passion is to see the name of Jesus proclaimed unashamedly, proudly, and boldly in the mission field we call Fredericksburg, VA.

Roberts prayer is for an authentic  move of God in the body of Christ today, both locally and worldwide.  A true Spirit-filled revival is what he seeks for himself and in the heart of each and every member of the church that will have no choice but to spread throughout this community - changing lives, mending hearts, healing wounds, and seeing souls redeemed by proclaiming Jesus as LORD.
